Vinicius is a high-tech executive based in Silicon Valley with over 17 years of multinational experience working for Fortune 100 companies. His experience includes the general management of mid to large size business and multibillion dollar P&L operations. He has held leadership positions in product management, operations and technology services.
He is currently the senior director of HP’s Device-as-a-Service (DaaS) business — a platform that brings the industry 4.0 to life — a unique solution combining hardware, software, machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) services. It allows customers to increase IT efficiency, security, employee productivity and accelerate their digital transformation. He has also led several turnarounds while driving innovation and disrupting established business models through technology.
As a startup investor, board member & advisor he coaches founders and CEOs on their journey to scale businesses and teams.
He is an instructor and lecturer at UC Berkeley in the areas of leadership, innovation and product management, where he created the 𝑷𝒆𝒙𝒑TI framework of exponential growth. It enables the development and attraction of Exponential People (P) able to Transform (T) markets, culture and mindset — leading organizations to sustainable Innovation (I) for the long haul. Applied to large companies it has resulted into product’s reinvention and return to massive growth, whereas inside of small ones it has been the foundation of solid scale.
As a passionate person for education, he seats at the board of Junior Achievement NorCal and supports Karimu, an NGO building schools in the rural areas of Tanzania, Africa. He is also a mentor of several young executives from companies like Salesforce, Booking.com, LinkedIn and a sponsor of several initiatives to accelerate career development, diversity and inclusion.
Vinicius has a B.S degree in industrial engineering, an MBA in business management and a specialization in AI applied for business from the Stanford GSB.
