According to data from a survey conducted by the Association of Information and Communication Technology and Digital Technologies Companies, the demand in the IT sector, by 2025, should reach almost 800 thousand new professionals in Brazil.
A survey by McKinsey revealed that 87% of companies are not prepared to deal with the shortage expected in the coming years. In addition, 61% of Human Resources professionals, those directly linked to the recruitment and selection processes, believe that the biggest challenge will be hiring developers.
After all, what's the solution?
The solution may lie within the companies themselves:
- It is necessary to seek professionals in the area and promote the feeling of BELONGING so that they can remain and advance in their careers within the company.
- Internal development for career projection.
- In-house academies, which provide knowledge of additional technology to those who don't, offering an opportunity to take their career to another level.
Recruitment experts agree that there is a double challenge: to keep the professionals already prepared within the corporation and, at the same time, to prepare the new crop, formed by an immediatist generation.
